Scruple is built to give you a tool, not to study you.

What we collect

When you use scruple.app or the Scruple iOS app, we collect:

— The decisions you submit, so the model can respond. Your decisions are not used to train any model and are not sold or shared.
— A device-local unlock token if you’ve paid, so we know which device has Unlimited access.
— Standard request metadata (IP address, user agent) for rate limiting and abuse prevention. This data is retained for 30 days.
— Your email address, if you purchase a subscription. We use it only to deliver your unlock link and account-related messages.

We do not use cookies for advertising. We do not run third-party analytics that build profiles about you.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to that data.

Transactional email (your unlock link, billing receipts, cancellation confirmations) is delivered by Resend. We do not send marketing email.

You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello@scruple.app. We will confirm deletion within 7 days.

If we change this policy in any material way, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify users by email.
